Terms of Service

By using Logs by HLTG (the bot, the website at logsbyhltg.com, or the Mythic Raider addon and companion app), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What this service is

Logs by HLTG is a free, fan-made Discord bot and web dashboard that reads publicly available WarcraftLogs data and displays it in Discord and on this website. It also offers Mythic Raider, an optional in-game addon and companion app that imports public, top-ranked talent builds, along with note tools, raid checks and a public feed of guild boss kills. Everything needed to use the service is free, with no guarantees.

Not affiliated with Blizzard or WarcraftLogs

This is an independent fan project. World of Warcraft and all related trademarks are the property of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. WarcraftLogs is a separate service operated by Warcraft Logs, LLC. Logs by HLTG is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company.

Accounts

Some features require signing in with Battle.net, and some require linking a Discord account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share your login, and do not use the service to act on behalf of a guild you have no authority over. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.

Supporter perks

The core service is free and stays free. A small number of extras are unlocked for people who support the project on Patreon, and are enabled by linking the Discord account that holds the Supporter role. Payments are handled entirely by Patreon under their own terms; we never see your payment details. Supporter perks are a thank-you, not a purchase of the service: they may change or end at any time, and losing the role removes the perk.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this service only for its intended purpose: tracking your guild's raid progression. You must not:

Content you create

Cooldown notes, raid notes and anything else you write stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, back it up, and show it back to you and to anybody you share it with. We do not claim ownership and we do not use your content for anything else.

You are responsible for what you write. We may remove content that breaks these terms or that somebody reports as unlawful or abusive.

Public kill cards

When a tracked guild kills a boss, the bot publishes a kill card to the public WoW Moments feed, carrying the guild name, the fight summary, the character names of the raid group and an auto-generated group photo built from public armory renders. All of it comes from public WarcraftLogs and Blizzard armory data.

Any officer of a guild can switch the feed off for that guild at any time. If you appear on a card and would rather not, contact us and we will remove the card or your character from it. You do not need to be an officer to ask, and you do not need to give a reason.

Data accuracy

All pull data, death counts, and mechanic statistics are sourced from WarcraftLogs via their API. We display this data as-is and make no guarantees about its accuracy or completeness. If data looks wrong, it may reflect what WarcraftLogs recorded.

Service availability

This is a free hobby project. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or continuity of service. The bot or website may go offline for maintenance, updates, or for any other reason at any time without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Mythic Raider addon & companion app

The Mythic Raider addon and companion app are optional downloads, provided free and "as is". By installing or running them you agree that:

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, inaccuracies, missed pulls, or any damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to remove access to the service for any guild or user at any time, particularly in cases of abuse or violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by running /unlink in Discord, and delete your account from your profile page.

Your data

Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we store, who processes it, and how to download or delete it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the new terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
